Transparency Disclosure: Three team members (Dorian Jean, Mark Roetzer, Elizabeth Jefferson) come from non-blockchain backgrounds (waste management, civil engineering, and athletics/academics respectively). Their real-world expertise is in business operations, infrastructure engineering, and product development — not blockchain development. Technical development of the Verdischain protocol is led by Rojs Gordons and the Protremix development team, with code publicly available on GitHub Facebook WhatsApp.
Verification Method: Each team member was verified through publicly available records — government websites, university rosters, professional registries, and company registrations. No private background checks or KYC services were used. Verification was conducted on August 14, 2026.
Remaining Credibility Gaps: For full investor readiness, the following are recommended: (1) LinkedIn profiles for Dorian, Mark, and Elizabeth, (2) Documentation of how each member's experience maps to their Verdis role, (3) Third-party KYC verification, (4) Addition of technical advisors with verifiable blockchain/Substrate/Rust credentials.
